Adjuncts: Strawberry Puree
This Intense Tart Saison was aged for 1 year in Applewood Rye Whiskey Barrels. This imparted an intense apple nose with a dry oak quality. Paired with the extreme tart quality, this beer is overwhelming when first sipped. Just as the tart quality starts to take over the aroma and flavor of strawberry becomes apparent. This serves as a nice familiar balance to the dominating flavors of sour and oak.
