Tart Saison with Hibiscus & Lemon
Tart Saison gets a twist of hibiscus and lemon! Our classic farmhouse saison starts with loads of pilsner and wheat malts. A bit of flaked oats and flaked rye bring some body and spice to the base. Hallertau Blanc hops provide a bit of citrus and white wine character before a warm fermentation with a saison yeast to bring out some light phenolics. Then we add hibiscus petals and lemon zest to elevate the flavor!
